Founded in 1996, the Great Ocean Group is a private holding company headquartered in Beijing. Its core interests are in luxury real estate and consumer sectors with an emphasis on China. The Group is led by charismatic entrepreneurs with a deep commitment to meaningfully giving back to society.

Working directly with the founders we defined a brand purpose and key messages to convey the Group’s activities and its increasingly global ambition to an audience of Chinese and international decision makers.

The resulting identity inspired by the Group’s Chinese name is a graceful swan in flight. The sophistication of the group is further expressed through a design system that uses artworks from the founders’ private collection including several paintings by Zeng Fanzhi, one of China’s most important contemporary artists.
